Converter

The B&B Electronics Model FOSTCDR

fiber optic converter provides RS-232

serial to fiber optic conversion. The

FOSTCDR should be used for serial

extension to a location where the serial

data can be converted to Ethernet or

other networking means.

No setup or configuration is required to

use the unit. The serial connections are

terminated on the front of the unit and

the fiber connections are attached.

At the head end, the fiber optic data is

converted back to serial or directly to

Ethernet.
